In this project, the task was to construct a still life that not only conveyed my personality but also served as a subject for composition. The goal was to produce a realistic drawing with a successful composition, showcasing adept charcoal handling, and craftsmanship.
My still life is a reflection of my personality, and who I am. The art supplies symbolize my profound love for creativity and artistic expression. The pair of sunglasses are a nod to my favorite season, summer. The glass figurines—a snake and fish—from my personal collection add a touch of uniqueness and personal interest. Lastly, a candle from my job at Bath and Body Works rounds out the composition.
Presented here is my concluding autobiographical still life, This medium allowed me to express my identity in shades and tones, creating a visually engaging and meaningful composition.
