Image Marks

Embracing the challenge of exploring diverse graphic styles, I centered my design project on a common hand tool—the pliers. The initial phase involved sketching representations of the pliers in various graphic styles, resulting in a collection of image marks showcasing distinct visual languages. This not only expanded my design repertoire but also highlighted my adaptability in graphic design. Moving into Adobe Illustrator, I digitally recreated and infused color into the designs, presenting the final image marks project below. I then selected a preferred image mark and crafted a business logo for a tool shop named 'Supliers,' focusing on the minimalistic charm of the plier’s design. The logo's colors were adjusted to harmonize with the store's aesthetic, and a complementary font was chosen for the overall brand identity. To offer a tangible preview of its real-world application, I created mockups that reflect the thoughtful design and consideration invested in the 'Supliers' brand identity.
